Aged 18-25 and live in Bolton? Do you have a passion for languages and community change?

If you like using media to inform and educate others and have an interest in languages, we have an opportunity for you! Youth Leads UK & Bolton Council have teamed up to give you the chance to spearhead conversations on public health and community well-being to support the population of Bolton. We’ll be supporting you in planning digital campaigns that create real impact.

We’ll be supporting you to create digital campaigns and produce messages to enrich the public health of Bolton while influencing decision-making. You’ll learn about translation services and accessibility through social enterprise to better serve the different ethnic groups across Bolton.

Guided by experts from Youth Leads UK and a host of organisations like Bolton Hospice and Turn Up The Value, you will influence future health and social enterprise campaigns and work closely with Bolton Council’s Public Health Team to design and deliver clear campaigns from live clients. From digital skills to job applications, interviews, leadership skills and more – we want to give you everything you need to realise your potential as a young community champion.

Your hard work will be recognised through graphic design, videos, online articles, and much more – YOU are in control.

This 3-month programme started on Tuesday, 7th Febuary 2023, at Bolton University. Sessions run once a week on Tuesdays between 17:30 & 19:00.  A full schedule will be provided once you sign up. You must have an interest in languages but do not need to be able to speak foreign language/s fluently.

Sign up now by filling out the form below!

Your details will be kept on file for six months after you apply and will only be used to contact you about youth opportunities and Youth Leads activities.
