Lydia German
Lydia has been a member of the board of trustees for Youth Leads UK since 2018, after initially joining as a volunteer in 2015.
Passionate about inspiring young people to create change and forge their own paths into digital careers, Lydia advocates for non-traditional routes to success. Having followed a journey through BTECs and an apprenticeship, she believes in the power of alternative education paths that align with how young people learn and communicate best.
Throughout her career, Lydia has held various marketing roles while mentoring work experience students and delivering careers insight sessions with Youth Leads and Greater Manchester schools. Currently, she works as a Content and Campaigns Officer at The Wildlife Trust, contributing to efforts towards a sustainable future.

of all my passions: supporting young people into digital careers,
encouraging them to use their voice and create change,
much of which is around sustainability and social issues.
