A MESSAGE FROM YOUTH LEADS UK: THANK YOU, MEHRAN

Youth Leads UK would like to extend our sincere thanks and a warm farewell to Mehran Mokri, who will be stepping down from his role as Chief Operating Officer at the end of 2025.

Mehran joined the organisation at a pivotal moment, right as the COVID-19 pandemic began reshaping the world. During this challenging time, he led the development of Youth Leads UK’s leadership programme strategy and played a key role in the digital transformation of our programmes, ensuring young people continued to receive meaningful support.

Starting with a team of just three, Mehran has been instrumental in growing our staff to a dedicated team of 10, all driven by a shared commitment to empowering youth. His leadership also helped expand the charity’s reach beyond our then-home in Bolton to the ten towns and cities across Greater Manchester.

Over more than five years, Mehran has contributed immensely to youth advocacy, organisational growth, and the strengthening of our mission. Youth Leads UK is deeply grateful for his dedication and impact. We wish Mehran every success in his future endeavours.
