Mastering Finances with Plantfood Coaching’s Katie Kendall
Young leaders from Youth Leads UK’s Leadership Programme gained invaluable financial insights in an Industry Insight session led by Katie Kendall, co-founder of Plantfood Coaching.
The Financial Superpower workshop focused on essential skills such as budgeting, saving, and smart spending. Katie also introduced participants to the concept of an ‘abundance mindset’ – the belief that resources and opportunities are plentiful for all – and explained how adopting this mindset can lead to personal and professional success.
Participants engaged in a true-or-false budgeting activity to test their knowledge and explored practical tools like Monzo and You Need a Budget to help them track spending and build better financial habits.
Katie’s session also provided insight into her career as a business owner, inspiring young leaders to consider entrepreneurial paths and alternative careers – paths they may not have otherwise thought about.
