Fatima Bangoura
Fatima joined Youth Leads UK in April 2024 as a Youth Engagement Officer and has since delivered many Leadership Programmes to young people across Greater Manchester.
After completing the Leadership Programme herself in 2023, and previously volunteering and working in a nursery, she gravitated towards youth work, and she prides herself on being an advocate of youth voice, believing that young people have the power to change the future through the changes they lead now. What motivates her is supporting the journeys of young people from all backgrounds and helping them realise their full potential.
Having experienced the Youth Leads UK Leadership Programme as a young person and now as a facilitator, Fatima has seen both sides of the programme, which has allowed her to come out of her comfort zone and meet amazing people in the community. She enjoys engaging with young people on a regular basis to evoke change and make a difference.

I love being a part of something where you constantly see the impact you have on people. I always look forward to the next project or programme because I know the young people will always flourish!
