

Kimberley Salmon-Jamieson
Kimberley Salmon-Jamieson is an experienced leader in nursing and midwifery, with a 30-year career in the NHS. She joined Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust from Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals, where she served as Chief Nurse and Deputy Chief Executive.
Qualifying as an adult nurse in 1994, Kimberley began her career in Women and Children’s services in Salford before becoming an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, having completed her MSc at the University of Liverpool. Since 2005, she has held senior leadership roles across several NHS trusts, including as Deputy Chief Nurse at the University Hospital of South Manchester and the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
Throughout her career, Kimberley has focused on improving quality, safety and patient experience. She has a strong interest in safeguarding, clinical governance, quality improvement and system safety. Passionate about professional development, she created the Your Future, Your Way leadership programme, which has received several national awards, including the 2023 North West RCN Award for Outstanding Contribution to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
