Youth Leads UK Secures Funding from The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust
Youth Leads UK is delighted to announce that it has received a generous grant from The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust, funded by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. This crucial funding will enable the expansion of our Youth Leads UK Leadership Programme, which focuses on equipping young people with essential life skills.
Over the next 12 months, we will run 6 programmes to empower less privileged young individuals from Greater Manchester, enhancing their confidence and fostering community engagement. The workshops will provide participants with the tools needed to articulate their ideas, share their stories, and become influential voices in their communities.
Saeed Atcha MBE DL, CEO and Founder of Youth Leads, expressed his gratitude, stating:
“We are incredibly thankful for this support from players of the Postcode Lottery, which will significantly impact the lives of the young people we work with. It will help them realise their potential and drive positive change within their communities.”
The funding from The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust will also enable Youth Leads UK to reach more young people, offering them unique opportunities for personal and professional growth. By participating in the programme, young individuals will gain valuable experiences and skills that will serve them well in their future endeavours.
This partnership underscores the commitment of Youth Leads UK to fostering leadership and resilience among young people, ensuring they have the resources and support necessary to thrive.
