Aaliah Patel
Aaliah serves as a Trustee of Youth Leads UK. She first joined the charity in 2022 as a programme participant and has since contributed in several roles including volunteer, Youth Engagement Officer, and member of the Youth Advisory Board.
As a Trustee, Aaliah is committed to empowering the voices and perspectives of young people and enabling opportunities for them to thrive. She is passionate about driving positive change and social impact, while uplifting voices from diverse communities.
Outside of Youth Leads, Aaliah works in press and communications for a media organisation, where she focuses on inspiring change and creating meaningful social impact by promoting the work of the organisation. She also volunteers with a Women’s Public Affairs network in the North, supporting women in male dominated industries and fostering cross sector connections.

Youth Leads has been an integral part of my personal journey as a young professional. It is incredible to continue supporting the organisation’s work and to help empower young people in the North to reach their full potential.
